Wall Street closed Monday with declines as investors fear on geopolitics
FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US stocks market closed down on Monday as investors are concerned in geopolitical factors such as the Ukraine crisis and the Israel's military invasion of Gaza.
After opening with negative note, stock attempted to recover throughout the session but despite to flirt with the daily break-even, major indexes closed with losses.
The Dow Jones declined 48.45 pts or 0.28% to finish at 17,051.73; the S&P 500 eased 4.59 pts or 0.23% to 1,973.63; while the Nasdaq Composite lost 7.44 pts or 0.17% to end the session at 4,424.70.
