OPEC meeting, without Iran, will decide on oil output freeze

On Sunday, global oil producers will meet in Doha. A gathering that should help to reach an agreement to freeze oil production.

Today, representatives from Iraq, Nigeria, Ecuador and Algeria have arrived in Doha. Nevertheless, Iran said that “saw no reason” to attend the talks and decided to stay at home.

Iran's absence may spark difficulties to settle a deal, as Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman already said that Saudi Arabia won’t restrain its oil production unless other producers, including Iran, agree to freeze output.
