UK Final Manufacturing PMI revised up 60.3 in August, beats estimates

The UK manufacturing sector activity rose in August, the final report from IHS Markit confirmed on Wednesday. 

The seasonally adjusted IHS Markit/CIPS UK Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) was revised higher to 60.3 in August, beating expectations of 60.1.
