UK’s Gove: Difficult to get a Brexit deal unless EU moves

UK Cabinet minister, Michael Gove was out with some Brexit-related comments in the last hour and confirmed that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will meet the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen later this Wednesday.

The comments did little to provide any meaningful impetus to the British pound. The GBP/USD pair was still trading with modest daily gains, around the 1.3370 region.
