Australia Westpac Consumer Confidence Index up to 94.9 in July from previous 93.2

Australia's Westpac-MI July consumer sentiment came at +1.9% m/m to 94.9 vs +0.2% prior. According to Westpac, a record 74% recall unfavorable news on budget, taxation, adding that confidence in labor market remains stubbornly weak, although highlighting that solid confidence recovery over 2014 is still expected.
