AUD/USD is still giving off a bullish tone

FXStreet (Guatemala) - AUD/USD is trading at 0.9418, down -0.03% on the day, having posted a daily high at 0.9427 and low at 0.9416.

The AUD/USD was a touch lower in New York post achieveing a new high for the month at 0.9445. Valeria Bednarik, chief analyst at FXStreet explained for the session, in the 4 hours chart, price was holding well above a bullish 20 SMA while indicators approach their midlines from above, still not confirming a bearish continuation. “The upside remains favored, yet a break above this year high of 0.9460 is required now to confirm a new leg up, looking for a quick test of the 0.9500 figure”.

AUD/USD Levels

Current price is 0.9420, with resistance ahead at 0.9421 (Hourly 20 EMA), 0.9422 (Daily Open), 0.9427 (Daily High), 0.9428 (Monthly High) (YTD High). Next support to the downside can be found at 0.9416 (Daily Low), 0.9411 (Daily Classic R1), 0.9408 (Weekly High), 0.9394 (Daily Classic PP) and 0.9391 (Hourly 200 SMA).
