Australian building permits for April plummet

Building permits (MoM) in Australia for the month of April came much-worse-than-expected at -5.6% vs 1.8% expected and -4.8% last.

Currently, AUD/USD is trading at 0.9289, down -0.23% on the day, having posted a daily high at 0.9315 and low at 0.9284.
