Japan's Aso: Stability of exchange rate is important

Japan's Finance Minister Taro Aso was out on the wires soon before press time stressing the importance of a stable exchange rate. 

Aso said the government is closely watching market moves with a sense of urgency but refrained from commenting on foreign exchange levels.
