Japan’s Suga: No change to the government view on raising sales tax

Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Suga is on the wires now, via Reuters, noting that there is no change to the government view on raising sales tax.

Suga comes out with a clarification after Kyodo News reported earlier today that Japan could delay the October sales tax hike.
