Earlier in the day, Oman's oil minister Mohammed bin Hamad al-Rumhi said that OPEC+ was discussing production cuts only for 3-6 months. "I don't know if OPEC needs to cut more than 1 million bpd," al-Rumhi added.

As of writing, the barrel of West Texas Intermediate was trading at $53.60, adding 1.8% on a daily basis.
