US and Canada are very close to reaching NAFTA deal: US official

The US and Canada are very close to reaching a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) deal, a US official said on Monday, according to Reuters. 

The USD/CAD has dropped to 1.2833 a few minutes before press time, the lowest level since May 31, having gapped lower in early Asia.
