Australian jobs upbeat, jobless rate drops unexpectedly
FXStreet (Bali) - The Australian employment change s.a. in March came at 18.1k vs 5k expected and 47.3k last, while the unemployment rate s.a. stood at 5.8% vs 6% expected and 6% last.
Australia lost 22.1k full-time jobs and added 40.2k respectively. The data is a psoitive input for the Aussie, especially the surprising drop on the jobless rate, while on the flip side, the number of full time jobs should be a concern liely to be highlighted by the RBA.

Unemployment decreased 29,900 (4.0%) to 713,200. The number of unemployed persons looking for full-time work decreased 16,700 to 509,800 and the number of unemployed persons only looking for part-time work decreased 13,300 to 203,400.
The unemployment rate decreased 0.2 pts to 5.8%, based on unrounded estimates.
Participation rate decreased 0.2 pts to 64.7%.
