EUR futures: room for further recovery

In light of preliminary figures for EUR futures markets from CME Group, open interest ticked higher by almost 1.8K contracts at the beginning of the week vs. Friday’s final 530,913 contracts. On the opposite side, volume went down by around 36K contracts.

EUR/USD now targets 1.1630

EUR/USD continues its march north so far today, leaving behind the 1.1500 barrier amidst choppy activity in open interest in past sessions. The next target now emerges at the 1.1630 region, although diminishing volume should limit the up move, or at least slow down its pace.
