OPEC's Barkindo: Confident there will be a deal on Friday

Sanusi Barkindo, Secretary general of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), has recently crossed the wires saying that he was confident they would be able to reach a deal Friday at the Vienna summit.

Crude oil prices reacted positively to these remarks and the barrel of West Texas Intermediate rose above the $65 mark. Meanwhile, Brent futures were last seen up 0.2% at $75.20.
