EUR/JPY at a stand still 141.20

FXStreet (Guatemala) - EUR/JPY has been held up on the drift lower from 141.40 on the session and settles in for 141.20’s.

EUR/JPY has drifted from yesterdays business that reclaimed some higher ground after the fall out from above 141.70. Meanwhile, for Japan, Kit Jukes, Global head of Currency Research at Societe Generale said, “The final week of the fiscal year sees little fresh news and little reason for the yen to move far, but the pressure on the BOJ to ease further to counteract the effects of the consumption tax increase, already growing, will be irresistible if there is any sign that the tax is affecting spending”.

EUR/JPY Levels

The 20 DMA is 141.37, the 50 DMA is 140.54 and the 200 DMA is 135.70. RSI (14) reads 47.90. Supports are ascending from 139.87, 140.21,140.38 and 140.70. Spot is 141.12 while resistances are 141.74, 141.97, 142.22 and 143.38.

EUR/USD unable to recover the 1.3800 level

The Euro is quiet trading below 1.3800 against the US Dollar and currently it seems to be unable to regain that level as technical charts turned neutral in the short term.
