No White House action against Amazon planned - Reuters

Reporting by Reuters is picking up statements from an unnamed source within the White House administration who is claiming that the White House has no plans to commit policy actions against Amazon at this time, but 'that could change' in the near future.

President Trump has been a vehement attacker of Amazon and it's CEO, Jeff Bezos, who owns the Washington Post, a newspaper that has devoted itself to reporting on Trump's missteps and inconsistencies. Trump recently took to Twitter to accuse Amazon of freeloading off of the US postal service and putting "thousands of retailers" out of business.
