Economic conditions remain strong – Riksbank’s Ingves

Stefan Ingves, Governor of the Riksbank, noted the strength of the domestic fundamentals after the Nordic central bank left the repo rate unchanged at -0.50% at today’s meeting.

Ingves also noted that it is risky to change the direction in monetary policy at the moment.

Regarding the ECB meeting, Ingves expects the central bank to extend its expansionary policy.
