Analysts at Nomura offered their model projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 285 pips higher than the previous fix (6.6654 from 6.6369) and 184 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.6470. The basket implied change is 289 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.6759 from 6.6470)."
