Australia’s building approvals slump in July, but beat expectations

As reported by Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), Australia's building approvals for July stood at -1.7% m/m vs -5.0% exp and 11.7% prior (revised from 10.9%), with the yearly reading at -13.9% vs -16.6% exp and -2.3% prior.
