US: Nonfarm payrolls up 113K in August

FXStreet (Barcelona) - US NFP grew by 169K in August, following the July increase revised up to 75K, according to data released today by the US Department of Labor. This result is below market consensus of 185K.

The Unemployment Rate dropped to 6.6% from 6.7%, against forecasts of remaining unchanged.
