German June ZEW economic sentiment surprised to the downside

The German ZEW headline numbers for June, showed that the economic sentiment edged lower, coming in at 18.6 versus 21.5 expectations and 20.6 seen last. While the sub-index current conditions jumped to 88.0 versus 85.0 expected and 83.9 booked previously.
