Iran may be allowed to keep current output levels if OPEC extends cuts – Kuwait

In an interview with Bloomberg, Kuwait’s Oil Minister Essam Abdulmohsen Al-Marzouq said Iran may be allowed to maintain the current level of production should the OPEC decide next month to extend the output cut deal for another six months.

“They are not cutting, but they aren’t increasing output from what was agreed on,” Al-Marzouq said, referring to Iran.

Iran’s output in March stood at 3.790 million bpd.
