Flash: EUR/USD could come under pressure - Commerzbank

FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - Ulrich Leuchtmann, analyst at Commerzbank highlighted key events would make next week interesting, with the Fed meeting and Eurozone inflation figures, which could put the EUR/USD under pressure.

Key Quotes

"Next week is going to be interesting from an FX market point of view: on the US side there is the Fed meeting, while the euro zone has January's inflation data to offer".

"So far the FX market has been quite relaxed about the fact that the Fed is normalising its monetary policy while nothing similar is on the horizon for the ECB".

"Should low inflation data fuel speculation about further expansionary ECB steps, that relaxed attitude might be a thing of the past. In that case EUR/USD would come under pressure after all".
