EUR/USD uninspired by quiet calendar
Spot looks uninspired this week, with low priority data making up today's docket on both sides of the atlantic. Following Friday's surprise Non Farm Payrolls shock miss, a lot of sting looks to be taken out of price action. Analysts had expected a decent Jobs number would enforce a hawkish outlook on the Fed, which combined with a dovish ECB would see EUR/USD head lower. However, the scale of the miss surely pushes taper talk back to March.
