Trump appoints Exxon chief Rex Tillerson as secretary of state

President-elect Donald Trump has appointed the chief executive of Exxon Mobil, Rex Tillerson, as the US secretary of state.

Mr Tillerson has good relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
