Analysts at Nomura offered their model1 projecttion for the fix to be 254 pips higher than the previous fix (6.8985 from 6.8731) and 186 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.8799.

The basket implied change is 285 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.9084 from 6.8799).
