AUD/USD rallies overnight
FXstreet.com (London) - AUD/USD has rebounded from lows and is set to break its 10-week run of weekly declines. The pair is currently trading at USD0.8974.
Overselling concerns
AUD/USD has followed the USD/JPY pair in the Asian session, both rebounding on overselling concerns. The Aussie dollar was one of the worst performing currencies of 2013, falling more than 16 percent.
AUD/USD swings
The pair climbed to USD0.8949 on Wednesday before yesterday’s strong US PMI numbers drove dollar strength finding resistance at 0.8843. The pair rallied 0.79 percent, currently at USD0.8974 after a high of USD0.8992.
