EUR/JPY bounces sharply from lows
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The EUR/JPY gathered pace and rallied to fresh daily highs after finding support at the 100-hour SMA.
EUR/JPY nears 5-year highs
The EUR/JPY bounced sharply from a 4-day low of 104.08 and rose more than 60 pips to a fresh daily high of 142.70 in recent dealings. At time of writing, the EUR/JPY is trading at the 142.50 zone, 0.3% above its opening price.
EUR/JPY levels to watch
In terms of technical levels, if the EUR/JPY breaks above 104.70, next resistances could be faced at 142.88 (5-year high Dec 18) and 105.00 (psychological level). On the other hand, supports are seen at 142.08 (daily low/100-hour SMA) and 142.00 (psychological level) ahead of 141.85 (Dec 19 low).
