CASS expects slight slowdown in Chinese economy
China Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), which advises the government, sees a slight slowdown in the fourth quarter economic activity, although with a normal and stable range.
It predicts a growth rate of 6.6% in fourth quarter and 6.7% for 2016. Wang Hongju, senior researcher, said China is likely to have sustainable economic development as long as there is stable local demand and continued supply side reforms.
