Beige Book: Economy expanded at a moderate to modest pace; Manufacturers optimistic about growth

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The Fed affirmed that the economic conditions remained expanding at a moderate to modest pace from early October through mid-November according to the latest release of the Beige Book. However, the Fed affirmed that manufacturing sector is optimistic about the near term growth.

The beige Book said that consumer spending increase while employment was unchanged or increased modestly in most districts. The retail spend looked positive and the price inflation was contained

The Staffing services are now more optimistic than they were three months ago and expect steady growth in 2014.
