GBP/AUD trims losses as ‘exit’ lead narrows

GBP/AUD cross has witnessed a sharp recovery from the intraday low as the latest referendum update shows ‘exit’ vote has narrowed its lead over ‘remain’.

The latest stats are - 49.9% - Remain and 50.2% - Leave. An hour ago, exit vote was leading by almost 10%.

Consequently, the cross has witnessed a sharp recovery from the low of 1.8887. The bird is now hovering around 1.9270.
