Research Team at Danske Bank, suggests that in terms of global data releases, the calendar today is rather thin. German industrial production data for March are likely to attract some attention after the strong factory orders released yesterday.

“Especially due to a big monthly increase in January it looks like the German industrial sector performed quite well in Q1 after a weak end to 2015. Industrial production data for France and Italy are also due for release today.
In the Scandis we have some important releases, especially the inflation figures for April in Denmark and Norway. In Denmark, we expect CPI inflation rose to 0.2% y/y in April from 0.0% y/y in March. In Norway, we expect the CPI inflation rate was unchanged at 3.3% y/y. In Norway also industrial production data for April are due.”
