UK: Annual CPI grows less than expected in October

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - On an annual basis UK inflation rose 2.2% in October, down from 2.7% growth recorded the previous month, National Statistics reported on Tuesday. Analysts expected a 2.5% rise. Month-over-month UK CPI increased 0.1% in October, following a 0.4% rise in September, below expectations of +0.3%..

Year-over-year Core CPI rose 0.9% in October, following +0.8% in September and below consensus of a 2% increase.
