US: Consumer Confidence deteriorates in October

US Consumer confidence fell to 71.2 in October, from 80.2 in September, according to data released by the Conference Board. Analysts expected less decline to 75.0.

EUR/USD jumps and erases losses

The EUR/USD jumped and erased intraday losses in the aftermath of the latest batch of US mixed data, although the most recent consumer confidence index had virtually no impact on the pair.
