US: Initial Jobless Claims fell to 350K

FXstreet.com (Edinburgh) -According to the Labour Department, the Americans that filed in their first initial claims for regular state unemployment-insurance benefits fell by 12K last week to a seasonally adjusted 350K in the week ended October 18, below expectations at 340K and coming from 362K (revised from 358K) in the previous print.

Continuing claims, which reflect people already receiving benefits, fell by 12K to a seasonally adjusted 2.874 million in the week ended October 11 vs. 2.882 million in the previous week (revised).

EUR/USD below 1.3800 on US data
