There is no need to lower deposit rate yet – ECB’s Hansson

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The European Central Bank member Hansson was on the wires stating there is no need to lower the deposit rate yet.

The speculation has been on the rise that the bank members prefer a rate cut over more QE. Earlier today, ECB’s Visco also played down the need to do more.

Last week, Hansson had stated that the bank has a bit more space on deposit rate cut.
