Spanish borrowing costs drop at bill auction

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The Spanish Tesoro Público held a debt auction on Tuesday during which it sold 12- and 6- month bonds at lower yields than seen at the previous sale.

3.75 billion euros of 12-month bonds were auctioned at an average yield of 0.961%, down from 1.367% seen at the previous auction. 0.82 billion euros worth of 6-month bonds were sold at an average yield of 0.672%, compared with the previous 0.911%.

EUR/CHF spikes on ZEW data, Spain auction

The EUR/CHF spiked upwards almost 30 pips, after the ZEW released data showed that the German ZEW survey Expectations rose to the highest level since the April of 2010.
