NZD/USD nears 0.8200 mark
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The NZD/USD has slowly retreated Wednesday and is approaching the 0.8200 psychological mark during the New York session as the cautious tone prevails ahead of the FOMC statement, weighing on commodity currencies.
However, moves are only shy with NZD/USD having dropped little more than 30 pips throughout the day. At time of writing, NZD/USD is trading at the 0.8215 zone, down 0.2%, having scored a daily low of 0.8205 in recent dealings.
NZD/USD technical levels
As for technical levels, immediate supports are seen at 0.8205/00 (daily low/psychological level) and 0.8180 (200-day SMA), while resistances could be found at 0.8248 (Sep 17 high) and 0.8270 (May 16 high).
