EUR/USD stretches to fresh highs
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The EUR/USD picked up fresh momentum and pushed through the 1.3350 area toward fresh highs during the American session.
EUR/USD spikes to 1.3370
Following a failed attempt at 1.3350 and the subsequent pullback, EUR/USD gathered enough buyers to extend its recovery and jumped above the 100-hour SMA to hit a fresh daily peak of 1.3370 in recent dealings.
EUR/USD technical levels
At time of writing, EUR/USD is trading at the 1.3350 zone, where it is virtually unchanged since opening. In terms of technical levels, if EUR/USD breaks above 1.3370, next resistances are seen at 1.3400 (psychological level) and 1.3425 (Aug 21 high), while on the other hand, supports could be found at 1.3325 (200-hour SMA) and the 1.3300/1.3295 area (psychological level/daily low).
