Greece situation is "very complicated, deal “not in sight” yet – ECB’s Hansson
FXStreet (Mumbai) - An agreement between Greece and its foreign lenders is "not in sight" yet, European Central Bank (ECB) Governing Council member Ardo Hansson said Tuesday, stirring further concerns about the country's fate in the euro area.
Hansson, who heads the central bank of Estonia, said that the situation regarding the country is "very complicated".
His comments followed a stream of official comments which suggested that Athens won't find enough cash to meet the scheduled repayments next month to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
