US: Initial Jobless Claims rose to 333K

FXstreet.com (Edinburgh) -According to the Labour Department, the Americans that filed in their first initial claims for regular state unemployment-insurance benefits rose by 5K last week to a seasonally adjusted 333K in the week ended August 3, below expectations at 336K and coming from 328K (revised) in the previous print.

Continuing claims, which reflect people already receiving benefits, rose by 67K to a seasonally adjusted 3.018 million in the week ended July 27 vs. 2.951 million in the previous week (revised).
