Flash: 2 out of last 4 RBA Stevens' speeches AUD up 1% on day - NAB

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The main event to watch in Asia will be RBA Governor Stevens' speech at the Anika Foundation Luncheon in Sydney starting at 3.05 GMT.

According to NAB Strategists: "The topic is current economic policy issues, and the event is open to the media and will include a Q&A. We note that on two of the past four occasions at which Stevens’ has addressed this charitable foundation, the AUD has moved by more than 1% on the day – in 2010 and 2011 – and in both cased UP."
