Japan's retail sales soft, consumption slowing down?

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Japan'sretail sales YoY for the month of June, which captures the aggregate sales in the county, came at +1.6% vs 1.9% exp and 0.8% prior. On a seasonally adjusted basis MoM, the release stood at -0.2% vs 0.8% exp and +1.5% prior. The large retailers' sales, which captures the total value of goods sold in large stores, came at +3.5% vs +3.6% exp and -0.4% last. The data indicates the improvement in consumption
