Overall bearish position on 10-year Treasury note fall for second week

FXStreet (Mumbai) - As per the data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) on Friday, speculators trimmed their overall bearish positions in the last week for the second consecutive week.

The non-commercial futures contracts of the 10-year treasury notes saw a weekly change of +30,727 net contracts to a total net position of -107,530 contracts during the reporting time period - March 10th to March 17th. The overall long positions increased by 14,050 contracts, while short positions fell by 16,677 contracts.

Meanwhile, during the reporting period, the yield on the 10-Year treasury note decreased from 2.14% to 2.06%.
