Natural Gas falls 3%
FXStreet (Mumbai) - Natural gas prices in the US fell sharply as weather forecasts predict mild weather in the second half of January.
Natural Gas for February delivery traded 3.075 lower at USD 2.856/mmBtu at the time of writing as extended weather forecasts predict higher temperature readings throughout US from Jan 16 to Jan 20. Thus, prices fell as higher temperatures would reduce heating demand for the fuel.
Natural Gas Technical Levels
The immediate support is seen at 2.805 (Jan 2nd low), under which losses could be extended to 2.718 (July 2012 low). Meanwhile, resistance is seen at 3.011 and 3.174 levels.
