US Equity futures point to a flat opening
FXStreet (Mumbai) - The US Equity futures have been trading in the red since the Asian session today, tracking the weakness especially in the European equity markets.
The S&P futures December futures are trading 0.13% lower at 1943.15, while the NASDAQ December futures are trading 0.11% lower at 4000.90. Meanwhile, the DJIA December futures are down just 0.05% at 16,606.50.
Moreover, the in the absence of fresh fundamental triggers, the equity markets are likely to focus on the earnings. Amazon and Pandora Media slid 10 % and 5.8% after posting a disappointing earnings report card. Meanwhile, Microsoft Corp. rose 3% after revenue beat predictions. UPS gained 1% percent as profit topped estimates.
