NZD/USD rises modestly after 2-day slide
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The kiwi was trading slightly higher on Friday against the US dollar, recovering after falling 150 in the previous two days. Greenback is pulling back against commodity currencies while remains flat versus its European rivals.
After the release of trade data in New Zealand, NZD/USD dropped to 0.7792, reaching the lowest price since October 8, but the rebounded and rose quickly back above 0.7800.
During the European session extended the recovery to 0.7847. The area below 0.7850 capped the upside. Ahead of the American session the pair was trading at 0.7835/37, 0.20% down for the day and 90 pips below the price it had at the beginning of the current week.
