NZD/USD rejected above 0.7900, falls to 0.7840
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The kiwi erased gains versus the US dollar and pulled back, approaching the level it had at the beginning of the week. NZD/USD rose during the Asian session to 0.7916, the highest price since last Thursday but failed to hold above 0.7900.
On European hours, greenback gained momentum across the board and pushed NZD/USD to the downside. The pair broke below 0.7850 (Monday’s American session low) and bottomed at 0.7841.
Currently trades at 0.7862/65, down 0.35% for the day so far, still more than 50 pips above the level it had early on Monday.
