US Ten-year yields near 15-month lows
FXStreet (Mumbai) - FXStreet (Barcelona) - The Ten-year treasury yields are trading near a 15-month low level hit on Friday. The yields are trading at 2.286, just a shy away from the 15-month low of 2.279 hit on Friday.
The ten-year yields in the US came under pressure in the last week due to the downward revision of global growth forecasts by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The slowdown in the German economy has also raised a threat of the Eurozone slipping back into the recession.
Meanwhile, a strong Chinese export data released earlier today has failed to provide any respite to the risk aversion in the financial markets.
US Ten-year yield Technical level
The ten-year yield has an immediate support of 2.279 (Oct 10th low), while the resistance is located at 2.303 (Aug 15th low).
