EUR/USD got killed by Draghi, and fell to 15-month low
FXStreet (Moscow) - EUR/USD came under pressure in early Asia on the back of Draghi’s comments; it posted 15-months low at 1.2755 in European morning.
Draghi made a point
This morning the ECB President Draghi made a speech. The speech was devoted to "Single market, Single Currency, Common Future" conference to commemorate Lithuania joining the Euro in 2015. Although nobody expected any new comments on monetary policy, the chairman still made a point on additional unconventional monetary measures, that would follow if needed. It helped to move the pair lower, and keeps pressing the euro by the moment. The next target for the pair to the downside may lie at 1.2748 support.
